Searles Host Successful Free Junior
Golf Day
On Monday 7th August Searles Golf Club hosted their second free
junior golf day of the year. PGA Professional Ray Stocker ran two
sessions with 28 children of all ages taking part, some with experience
and others trying the game for the first time.
Junior Group 1
The fun day started with tuition on the driving range and moved out
onto the putting green where all the children entered a putting
competition, Congratulations to Ryder Jones who won the first groups
competition and to Alex Berk who won the second groups competition.
All the children received a goody bag and had a fun day.
Junior Group 2
Ray Stocker will be running junior golf classes every Sunday
morning starting from 20th August 2017 at 10am, price £4, promoting
the Stars of the Future player pathway.
