Rollason Stage School enjoys Scarborough success
With much better weather than last year, the Rollason Stage School’s
third annual trip to Scarborough showcased the students’ new show
dances, vocal section and a juggling act.
Performing to an audience of over one thousand at the Open Air
Theatre on the stage where such names as Tom Jones, Madness, Jess
Glynne and the Human League have performed might have over-awed
the youngsters but once again they rose to the occasion with their new
routines that incorporated modern, tap, street dance and aerial moves.
Fitted with head mikes for the first time their vocalists excelled and
Tommy Rollason’s juggling act made the audience gasp and cheer.
Professional show producer Tony Peers who stages the summer
shows at Scarborough said: “Big Thanks to Rollason Stage School for
making the journey from Hunstanton to appear in our Festival of fun
at the Open Air Theatre; great as always, and this time starring Tommy
the Juggler. Thanks gang xxx”
