Congratulations on the 100th edition of 'Hunstanton Town & Around' from TEL: 01485 525206
us all at the Rotary Club of Hunstanton & District.
Elaine Bird delighted us with a talk recently at Rotary on the ALSO HOUSE/SHED/GARAGE CLEARANCE
development of the magazine. The magazine started in 2005 following
the Hunstanton Newsletter. Advertisers quickly came forward giving good We can clear your unwanted items cheaper than a skip
support, and the demand for the magazine soon increased. The magazine Unwanted items taken away
now covers a wide geographical area. Elaine commented on the good I CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR OWN LIGHT REMOVALS
support given by Rotary. TEL: 01485 525206
The magazine's main aims are to give local information to people as to
what is happening in the area and to give people an opportunity to have a
say. Rotarians were unanimous in their praise and congratulated Elaine
for the high standard achieved. Much interest is shown in the town and BOAT HOUSE CAFÉ
district, with the magazine being a local lifeline to many.
With our partners we recently had an evening meeting at the
Rendezvous Restaurant on the High Street in Hunstanton when we had a Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks,
very pleasant meal and a social get-together. Rotarian Adrian Evans Hot & Cold Drinks, Ice Creams
showed several of his Jib Jab Rotary video cartoons with all the characters
being Rotarians or their partners! Rotary is fun! Sunday Roast
All about Rotary Beef or Chicken,
We Rotarians have found that not many people realise all that Rotarians 5 Fresh Veg, Roast Potatoes,
aim to do. Some believe that all we do is collect for charity. While this New Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding.
of course, is true there is so much more than this. Many Rotarians have £5.95 and £7.50
commented that being members has changed their lives for the better and
that lasting friendships have been made. Pensioners’ Lunches
So who exactly are we? We are business and professional volunteers Monday and Friday.
and we are all united in the ideal of service. We belong to 'Rotary

world, all of whom are dedicated to peace and understanding. Rotarians
believe in freedom and democracy, coupled with the acceptance and Licensed to Sell Alcohol
tolerance of other people's religions and political beliefs. Open from 9am 7 Days
Rotary Clubs exist in most countries and well over one million people,
who are organised into different Rotary Clubs, are proud to be called South Beach Road Hunstanton PE36 5BA
Rotarians, believing in world peace, friendship and care for others. We
aim to consider the following: (By the jet ski ramp)
       1. Is it the truth?
       2. Is it fair to all concerned? 01485 535495
       3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
       4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Parking Available
We try to be absolutely fair in all these and are proud to be called
Rotarians. We aim to enjoy friendship and fellowship with other
Rotarians. We believe that all useful occupations are valuable and helpful
and we aim to have high standards to help us in what we do for others. GATES - RAILINGS - WEATHERVANES - CURTAIN POLES
This service is at the very heart and soul of Rotary and we want to help
others locally, nationally or internationally who may be less fortunate than Sandringham
ourselves. Wherever you see the characteristic Rotary wheel (see the
picture above) you know that Rotarians are involved. IRONCRAFT
