A tale of dark deeds and duels, romantic entanglements and comedy from start to finish, giving us a close-up of the in-crowd that formed the backbone of London’s smart society in the 18th century.
Following last year’s first outdoor performance of 'The Importance of Being Earnest’, on Saturday 19th July we’ll be staging 'The Rivals’, a comedy by Richard Sheridan.
Gloucester-based Rain or Shine Theatre Company will be back again after the success of last year’s performance, which broke all previous attendance records with an audience of 180 who enjoyed picnics and wine under a fabulous west Norfolk sunset.
So, why not pack your festival trolley and come along to meet Mrs Malaprop, yes, she of the mangled and inappropriate words.
