Our rivers and lakes are full of a colourful array of ducks, but can you tell a Goosander from an Eider?

Duck species tend to look their best in winter having moulted into fresh finery but some can still be a little tricky to identify. During the morning's workshop you'll cover ID tips and techniques looking at plumage, overall shape, flight patterns and feeding behaviour. Then you'll head onto the reserve to look at birds on the fresh marsh, reedbeds and out at sea.
