Spray-On Skin
The Cosmetic Clinic Kings Lynn is one of the few exclusive clinics
offering a revolutionary technique called ReCell® Spray-On Skin®
which transforms a thin, small sample of tissue from the patient’s own
skin into a holding solution that can be immediately sprayed or dripped
onto wounds to stimulate healthy new skin growth.
ReCell has been designed for the treatment of a wide range of
wounds, burns, scars (including acne and surgical scars) and skin
defects.
A small sample of skin is taken from an area close to the skin being
treated to ensure both the texture and colour are similar.
The sample cells are then harvested to produce a “Spray Solution”
that contains all of the skin cells necessary to promote healthy skin
growth, including melanocytes that produce skin colour (melanin). The
cells are processed while the doctor prepares the area to be treated and
are then sprayed onto the wound.
Once applied, the cells then multiply and spread throughout the skin,
resulting in accelerated healing and improving skin texture and colour.

Gracie’s Hair Donation
On the 13th February 2014 Grace Penty, a 7 year old who attends
Hunstanton First School made the difficult decision to have her hair
cut much shorter than she was used to, having had her hair long for
most of her life.
Having made this decision the next thought was how to make best
use of this and do some good for someone less fortunate than herself.
After consideration by her and her family she decided that it would be
nice to help another child and that by donating her excess hair it could
be made into a children’s wig. She went to Auntie Anita at Anita’s
Salon who quickly gave the assistance she needed and restyled her
then shorter hair which she was very pleased with.
The Little Princess Trust provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls
across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through
cancer treatment or other illness.
Donated hair is collected and checked for suitability and then made
into specialised children’s wigs which are given to children free of
charge.
She has received a certificate from the Trust in recognition of her
donation
