Sedgeford ‘Wombles’ Teenage Fundraiser does it again!

WI Supports Baby Basics
s part of their 100th birthday celebrations, Snettisham WI
chose to support the local branch of Baby Basics as their
Acharity of the year for 2023. They were delighted to hand over
a cheque recently for the grand total of £400.
The money came from various events during the year, including the
WI’s Centenary Open Day, the village summer fair and a charity cake
stall at the Snettisham Flea Market.
Janet Lane, outgoing Secretary of the WI, said: “We really enjoyed
fundraising for such a wonderful cause, and some of our members were
able to make knitted items too for inclusion in the bundles that Baby
Basics prepare for new mums.” She thanked everyone who had
supported the events throughout the year.
