       Celebrating a decade of Christmas Tree Festivals

           he 10th  Anniversary Christmas  Tree Festival at Hunstanton
           Town Hall was a splendid event with 33 trees of varied design
       Tand construction.
        Local groups, associations and businesses created a display that
       added festive sparkle to the Town Hall over the weekend of 3-5th
       December.

        The festival was organised by the Hunstanton & District Festival of
       Arts and opened by the Mayor Adrian Winnington (above) who said
       how pleased he was to see so many different groups participating in
       the event.







                                                           Cinderella Tree in second place and the  Community Fridge’s Banana
                                                           was third.
                                                             In the shop window competition that ran alongside the Christmas
                                                           Tree Festival top spot was taken by Lily’s Pet Supplies, closely
                                                           followed by Fen Spirits and in third place was the Hospice Shop.
                                                           Kemp’s Fruit and Vegetable Shop and the Enchanted Plaza received
                                                           Certificates of Merit.

        Taking a break from packing presents at the North Pole, Father
       Christmas was on hand to distribute gifts to visiting children.
        The winning tree in the public vote was the Hedgehog tree (pictured
       top right) designed by Hunstanton and District Ladies Circle with the
