End period poverty – West Norfolk Netball League

        supports with donation

              n Tuesday 6th March
              West Norfolk Netball
        Oleague presented a cheque
for £225 to the End Period
        Poverty campaign. Treasurer of
        the league, Heather Freeman,
said: “Our netball league has well
over 100 women register to play.
Each and every one of them feels
        strongly that other women
        shouldn’t have to struggle for
        sanitary items when they’re on
        their period. Our donation comes
as a result of a request to support
the campaign and we are pleased
to be able to do so”.
Jo Rust, who made the request
for support said, “No one should
face the fear of not being about to
go to school because you don’t
have the basic sanitary items. Nor
        should women be faced with
        lining their underwear with paper
in order to be able to get through
a working day while get clean either”. donated to a variety of different presentation, and they will all be
