Youths' Art Competition to celebrate the King’s Coronation

Hunstanton youngsters are invited to create an original image based on King Charles III’s Coronation.

To mark the celebration of the King’s Coronation, children and young people up to the age of 16 in the Hunstanton community are being invited to enter an art competition to draw, paint or create an original image based on King Charles III’s Coronation.

Each child or young person are asked that their artwork be of A4 size and the following can be used: pencil, water colours, tempera, oil pastel, dry pastel and inks.

Projects must be accompanied by a completed entry form including the full name of the contestant (name, surname), age, parent’s email, and a contact phone number. Upon submission of the project, the parents shall automatically accept all the conditions set by the organisers (Hunstanton Town Council.

The competition is being run from Monday 6th March to 12 noon 17th April 2023. Entries should be submitted within the time limits of the competition. Each contestant will be entitled to up to 3 entries. The competition will feature one winner from each age category, each receiving a £25 book voucher. Winners to be announced at the Youth King’s Coronation Party being held on Saturday 6th May 2023 in the Town Hall.

All children and youth entering the competition will each receive a commemorative Certificate of Participation.
