An Evening in Support of Female Veterans 26 Apr 2024
The Bridge for Heroes is holding an event in celebration of female veterans at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wisbech from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 26th April.
Kerry Allison from the charity said:
"The event is open to all, especially those with an interest in the female veteran experience and how we as a charity can reach and support this group.
"Recent research has shown that female veterans are not accessing veteran services, so are potentially missing out on help and support that they need.
"We want to share and learn about the lived experience of our female veterans, and to identify how and where we can help.
"We want the event to be interactive and to be a springboard for constructive conversation."
Transport to the venue is available from The Bridge Drop-In Centre and during the event there will be a World premier of two video documentaries with Q&A plus workshops, stands and activities. Refreshments will also be available.
Anyone who would like to attend should contact Kerry by Monday 22nd April to reserve their place, organise transport and advise of any dietary requirements.
The event is supported by The Armed forces Covenant Fund Trust which is funded by HM Government.
