Heacham FC were on the end of a 5-0 hammering at Mulbarton Rovers on Saturday. There was no way back as they conceded three goals in the first 11 minutes. The home side added two more goals to seal a convincing win. The Magpies remain second from bottom and are now facing a long hard battle to avoid relegation. There is no let up as they face unbeaten Great Yarmouth Town this Saturday (3pm Kick off).
Dersingham Rovers returned from Blofield United with an excellent 2-1 win in the Norfolk Senior Cup. Goals from Lewis Curson and Scott Sutherland-Gray were enough put the local side into the hat for the second round draw.
In Division Three of the Anglian Combination, Ingoldisthorpe FC were on the end of a 5-1 grilling at leaders Watlington. Dylan Ess bagged a consolation for the local side.
Heacham Reserves were the big winners at the weekend, beating bottom club Gayton United Reserves 10-0 in Division Five. Dersingham Reserves also notched their first points of the season with a 3-0 home win over Watton United Reserves.
