Heacham FC's miserable start to the season continued as they were convincingly beaten at former Peterborough United player, Danny Crowe's, Harleston Town. Two goals in each half were enough to dispatch The Magpies 4-0. It was the first time the home side have ever won in the FA Cup.

In Division Two of the Norfolk Cricket Alliance League, Bircham’s game was agonisingly abandoned as they were just two runs short of chasing down Fakenham 2nd XI's 171.
A delayed start meant the ‘8.30pm finishing time’ rule came into play. As the clock ticked past the allotted time, the umpires called a halt to proceedings. The NCAL rule states that ‘where there is a delayed start, a game must be finished by 8.30pm.’ The grey area is that this is not the case where the umpires are allotted - which was the case here - and surely common sense should have prevailed. Having had to half the points, it mean’s second placed Dereham have now cut Bircham’s lead at the top to just one point.
In Division Three, Sandringham’s promotion push took a knock as they were beaten at Brooke 2nd XI by three wickets. Sandringham do, however, remain in 3rd place.
In Division Four, Snettisham also remain in 3rd place after a relatively routine 79 run win over Swardeston CC. In form Keiran Herbert’s century the pick of the match statistics.
In Division One of the Norfolk Cricket League, Thornham’s promotion challenge is back on track as they chased down Overstand’s 148 in just 26 overs. Hugo Dunn’s three wickets helping the local side ease to an 8 wicket victory.
