Hunstanton hopes to win another trophy for best coastal resort
Anglia in Bloom judges have been to the town as part of the annual awards inspections.

Hunstanton won a trophy last year for best coastal resort.
Adrian Winnington, Chair of the town's In Bloom committee, says, "It's not just about plants, it is also very much about community and so any achievements are down to the efforts of many groups throughout the town."

Cllr Paul Bland, Cabinet member for open spaces, says the team, "Do an incredible job across the borough and are rightly proud of the work they carry out and the recognition they hope to receive."
Adding, “As well as the council staff who care passionately about our parks and green spaces so do many volunteers and community groups that make a real difference in west Norfolk and they deserve recognition too. I would like to thank our staff and many others who make west Norfolk such a great place to live.”

The aim of the campaign is to encourage groups to take pride in their area.
Judges have been visiting towns and villages across the region to assess their floral displays, community involvement and environmental initiative.

Results are announced later in the year.
Green fingers crossed!
