Cut off by the tide on Monday evening, the ladies and dogs were rescued by the Hunstanton hovercraft.
Shortly after 7pm on Monday 18th July the Coastguard requested the launch of the Hunstanton hovercraft in response to a report of three people with two dogs cut off by the tide on Scolt Head.
On arrival the ladies and dogs were located on the island, picked up and taken to Brancaster by the hovercraft where they were passed to the care of the local Coastguard response team at Brancaster Golf Clubhouse.
The Hovercraft then returned to Hunstanton RNLI station.
