The A149 song - the new release from local radio newsreader and songwriter Sharon Coles

It has been quite a year for local radio station KL1 Radio. They have been out and about across West Norfolk showcasing a wealth of talent from across the area.

One part of the broadcast team that doesn’t normally do much in the way of outside appearances is the news team, and earlier this year Sharon Coles who is on duty most days reading the local news bulletins, decided to turn her hand to song writing. Her first composition, the KL1 Song, kick-started the celebrations for the station’s fourth year on air and was well received by listeners of all ages.

Now, she has produced the A149 song. This sing-along ditty mentions all the trivial things that go through our minds if we are sitting in a traffic queue on the aforementioned road.

This song will be available for free download as a little festive gift from KL1 Radio to its loyal listeners from Friday December 13th from 8am having been given its first airing on Paul Baker’s Breakfast Show. It will also be able to listen to on KL1 Radio Facebook page @kl1radio

From this Friday, the song will be available for download at www.kl1radio.co.uk
