In the Conference League North, King's Lynn Town slipped to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to a young Chester City side in front of over 1,600 spectators. Results elsewhere, however, meant the Linnets secured a play off place where they will travel to Chorley FC today (Tuesday 29th) evening in the first phase. Win that and they will face Scunthorpe United, who finished 2nd, next Saturday in the Semi Finals.

In Division One of the North West Norfolk League, Ingoldisthorpe Reserves have given themselves a chance of avoiding the wooden spoon with two games to play. They beat the team immediately above them in the table, Clenchwarton FC, 3-0 with a brace from Thomas Host and a goal from Matthew Herbert to close the gap on their opponents to just one point.

Hunstanton Oasis Indoor Bowls Club held their end of season presentation and awards night on Thursday, 24th April at Searles Golf Club.

Graham Keeley won the Men’s Singles title whilst Margaret Dark won the Ladies title.

Graham Keeley teamed up with Faith Harman to also win the Mixed Pairs title.

The club also presented a cheque to the Norfolk Hospice Tapping House for over £2,200 raised from fundraising events throughout the season.
