Lynn held, Heacham beaten and Hunstanton Men's Indoor Bowls team in title decider
Football
In the Conference League North, King's Lynn Town FC moved eight points clear of the drop zone with a point in a dour 0-0 draw at home to fellow strugglers Curzon Ashton. It means the Linnets have secured eight points from fifteen since Paul Caddis took charge.

Even Caddis admitted it wasn’t a game to live long in the memory, although new signing Carlton Inaezuonu was unlucky not to add to his tally, hitting the woodwork late on. Unfortunately, Lynn has also confirmed that key players Michael Clunan and Reece Hall-Johnson are now unavailable, both out with season ending injuries.
Lynn travel to relegation doomed and bottom side Leamington tomorrow (Tuesday) evening where Caddis will be hoping to secure maximum points.

In the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division Heacham FC were beaten 2-0 by visitors Harleston Town, sunk by a brace from former Lynn player, Ryan Hawkins. The magpies actually played quite well but lacked firepower, missing the suspended Toby Hilliard up front.

However, wins for Lakenheath and Hadleigh mean Heacham are now just five points above the relegation places having played more games. They host runaway leaders Mulbarton Wanderers on Saturday in a game that could secure the title for the visitors.

In Division One of the Anglian Combination, Dersingham Rovers put in a much improved performance, earning a creditable point against league leaders Holt Utd in a 0-0 draw. In fact, Derse were unlucky not to secure all three points with two goal line clearances. They are now 5th.
In Division Three, Heacham Reserves’ good run of form came to an end in a 2-0 loss at 2nd placed Gayton Utd. The defeat means Heacham still have work to do to secure a top three finish.
In Division Four, Dersingham Reserves are up to 4th after a 2-0 win at Woottons FC and can still secure a top two finish with their games in hand. The in-form Sonny Devlin with a brace. Ingoldisthorpe FC, who were without a game, slipped to 5th as a consequence.
In Division One of the North West Norfolk League, Heacham Minors Development FC are into the semi finals of the League Cup after 2-1 win over West Winch.
In Division Two, Ingoldisthorpe Reserves did their chances of securing a top three finish no harm at all with a 4-1 derby success at home to Dersingham U23’s. Bradley Rix, Ryan Young, John Sapsford and Shannon Herring-Blatch with the goals.
Heacham FC U18’s ended a winless streak of six games last week with a 5-2 success at bottom side Whittlesey Athletic U18’s.
Bowls
Hunstanton men Indoor Bowls team weren’t in action at the weekend, but a maximum seven point haul for Lynnsport B over Norfolk Bowls Club C mean they now lead Division Four of the County League by just half a point 0.5 over Hunstanton. The pair meet in the final fixture of the season at Lynnsport on Saturday (2pm) in an exciting title deciding shoot out.
In their respective Division, the Ladies are in 3rd but still have aspirations for a top two finish with two matches to go, although they are mathematically still in contention for the title.

4th placed West Norfolk men played out an entertaining match at home to 2nd placed Saffron Walden on Saturday, drawing 41-41 in Division One East.
