Darren and Ann-Marie Wing have introduced a new menu and are holding a music festival for the RNLI.

With more than a nod to hot rock cooking, the new Friday Steak and Sizzler menu at Snettisham’s Queen Victoria is sure to be a hit with locals and visitors.

We chose the steak sizzler with a variety of side dishes. Richard’s blue cheese sauce was terrific, and I will certainly choose that on my next visit, although my garlic mayo was excellent.

Talking about the spring and summer season, Head chef Darren Wing said: “We wanted to offer something different, and we hope the Friday addition to our other theme nights will be popular.”

The husband-and-wife team have been at the pub for two years now and in that time have introduced Wednesday Pie Nights, Thursday Burger specials, a full menu offering on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays with tradition roasts served on Sundays. All this along with their quizzes, music events, and Father Christmas breakfasts.

On Saturday 20th July there will be Life Fest 200, a music festival, with headline act ‘Very Beautiful South’ and supporting performers Erin Eliza, Chrissie Blake, Neil Reeve and The Scolts. Tickets are £10 each (under 5s free). The gates will open at 3pm with music from 4pm-9pm. This is a fundraising event in aid of the RNLI. Please call into the pub to buy your tickets or call 01485 779961.
