Sheep Field Community Housing Development
13 April 2018
For those unable to make our recent drop-in event at Hunstanton Town, I would like to let you know that it’s not too late for you to get involved. You still have time to register your interest in this exciting scheme. The event was held in Hunstanton Town Hall so that people attending could find out more about this small development of approximately 30 homes. They were able to speak with the project team and find out what being involved with a community-led housing development means. They were able to find out about eligibility criteria and able to register their interest in the properties, and in getting involved with the project.
From my point of view this initial consultation and engagement event on the Sheep Field development went very well. It was well-attended, and a significant number of comments were made in support of the development. Several expressions of interest were made in the properties. Since the event I have received a steady stream of enquiries from people who have heard about the scheme through the press or through word of mouth.
The council will continue to promote the development and I will be in Hunstanton at a range of community events, spreading the word about the opportunities for local home ownership that this development offers.
I'd like to thank Hunstanton Town Council for hosting the event, and for the assistance they gave on the day.
If you weren’t able to attend the drop-in session you can still register your interest by getting in touch with me, Anna Clarke, Community Housing Delivery Officer at - email@example.com
Further information about the proposed development is available at www.west-norfolk.gov.uk/sheepfieldhousing, along with an online expression of interest form for completion.
