Pumpkin fun for Snettisham Brownies and Guides

It's finally Autumn, also known as 'scary season' (thanks to Halloween) for some!

It also brings to mind crunchy autumn-coloured leaves underfoot and drinking spicy hot chocolates while snuggled up watching our favourite shows on the TV!

But at our Snettisham Brownies & Guides groups, we like to embrace Autumn to the full with Arts and Crafts galore, Halloween baking and food-inspired fun! Plus, this year, we made a very special visit to a pumpkin-picking farm for the ultimate Autumn adventure.

WEB girls on swing

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides met one fun-filled October evening, buzzing with excitement and dressed for the occasion. Piled high were pumpkins – of all different shapes, colours and sizes.

Armed with their wheelbarrows, the girls explored every inch of the field, finding their chosen pumpkins, amazed by the sea of colours and shapes that awaited them.

WEB girls on tractor

They posed for photos by the tractor, pumpkin heart and swing and were presented with a special pumpkin badge afterwards. Everyone went home thrilled and ready to decorate and carve their pumpkins.
