Peter Raraty won Anchor Park's Best Kept Garden competition.

The residents of Anchor Park in Snettisham have been taking part in the Best Kept Garden competition since the early l980’s , and in spite of the adverse weather conditions this year, the gardens were looking great and were judged by local garden expert and landscape designer, Lewis Dyer.

The prize presentation and celebration party was held in the Marquee in the Riverside garden on Monday 15th July. Mr. Ronan Leslie the Site owner, provided a very enjoyable lunch for the Residents and afterwards, he presented 12 of the residents with vouchers to be redeemed at Thaxters Garden Centre.

The Winner of the best kept garden was Mr. Peter Raraty, who also received the Silver Cup, which will be engraved with his name. The eleven runners up were presented with vouchers and congratulated for their efforts. The Site gardener, Mr. Mark Anderson was also praised for keeping the whole Park looking lovely all year round for the residents to enjoy.
