Snettisham was absolutely buzzing with excitement as 1st Jimmy's Field hosted its very first charity dog show and family fun day.
Held on a wonderfully sunny day at the end of September, the inaugural event saw an incredible turnout of dog lovers and their furry companions, all coming together to support a fantastic cause. What a day!
A Perfect Day of Paws and Community Spirit
The day kicked off with a lovely charity dog walk through the beautiful Snettisham wildlife area—a nice, peaceful start before the main event got underway.

The field quickly became a hive of activity, with the whole community joining in to make the day special. Highlights included:
* Plenty of delicious food and drink to keep everyone happy and energised.
* A great range of stalls selling unique goodies and yummy pet treats.
* A popular raffle and fun craft items for sale.
* The much-loved "Doggy Bar"—the ultimate hydration station for our four-legged pals!
A huge thank you must go to the brilliant folks at the Hunstanton Men’s Shed charity group. They hand-crafted our doggy photo booths! They added an extra touch of fun and guaranteed some fabulous souvenir photos.

Dedicated Support and Top Dogs
The happy, positive atmosphere proved just how much the community got behind this event.
We send a sincere thank you to our main sponsor, Sutton Bridge Veterinary Clinic, who generously provided stunning prizes and rosettes for all the show winners.
Visitors enjoyed checking out some brilliant specialist pet and craft stalls, including:
* Make it Magical
* The Dapper Dog
* Avas Pooch Bakery
* Daisys Doggy Hamper

The momentous occasion of crowning the Best in Show champion was beautifully captured by Ohana Pet Photography, making sure those proud moments were preserved forever.
Our Amazing Volunteers Made It Happen
The huge success of the show is completely down to the dedication and hard work of the fantastic volunteer team from the 1st Snettisham Girlguiding and Scout units. Their commitment and energy were truly the heart and soul of the show, turning the whole dream into a reality!
A massive thank you to absolutely everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and especially to those who brought their magnificent dogs.
We look forward to seeing all your lovely dogs and happy faces again next year for an even bigger and better Snettisham Dog Show!
