One hundred and eighty-seven dancers competed at the West Norfolk Dance Festival in Hunstanton at the weekend

Known as the Friendly Festival and organised by the Rollason Stage School the event is in its second year as an independent festival. Dancers from 1st Academy of Dance, the Centre Stage Theatre Academy, Josie Clarke Academy of Dance and Acrobatics, Just Dance, the Rebecca Steer School of Dance and the Rollason Stage School competed across all dance disciplines and for the first time a vocal only section was included.

Principal Michelle Rollason said: “We are very fortunate to have Kelly Joanne Chater to to adjudicate the event; she is an experiences examiner and successful choreographer and recently choreographed at the Dance World Cup in Germany.”
