During July and August Michael Schumann is opening the railway at his farm in support of local charities.
Norton Hill Light Railway in Snettisham is gearing up for another set of exciting fundraisers, with its annual family fete returning across three weekends this summer.
Set against the backdrop of its scenic miniature railway, the weekends promise fun, entertainment, and community spirit—all in support of three local good causes: Rotary Club of Hunstanton & District, The Purfleet Trust, and King’s Lynn Lions Club.
At the events, families can enjoy traditional fete favourites including games, stalls, live music, a barbecue, ice cream van and a homemade bake sale.
At the heart of the fete is the light railway: a 1km miniature railway journey through tunnels and Norfolk countryside, popular with children and adults alike.
Admission is £2 for adults and free for children. Train rides cost £2.50, and free parking is available on-site.
July 19th/20th – Supporting Rotary Club of Hunstanton & District
August 2nd/3rd – Supporting The Purfleet Trust
August 16th/17th – Supporting King’s Lynn Lions Club
