New mayor elected for Hunstanton

Following the resignation of Amanda Bosworth, members of Hunstanton Town Council voted Cllr Anthony Bishopp as the Mayor of Hunstanton and Chairman of Hunstanton Town Council for the remaining 2019/20 term. Cllr Adrian Winnington was voted in as Deputy Mayor & Deputy Chairman.

Cllr Bishopp made the following statement “I would like to give my personal thanks to Amanda Bosworth for all the hard work she has put in over the past 16/17 months as Mayor and Chairman of Hunstanton Town Council. It has been a difficult time in Council and we are all sorry for the toll it has taken on Amanda. As a team, we will continue with the good work she has started”.

Cllr Bishopp attended his first official function at the Soap Box Derby held in Hunstanton Sunday 22^nd September 2019.
