Paul Caddis says he's 'delighted', adding, "I'm just excited to get going now. I'm just really, really pleased to be here."
The club announced Culverhouse's dismissal this week, revealing Caddis as his replacement.
The 37 year old certainly needs to hit the ground running, as Lynn face FA Trophy semi finalists and play-off candidates, Marine, at home in a 3pm kick-off (Sat 7th).
It's been a turbulent few weeks for the Linnets, who have had to deal with the Sprinklegate saga along with Jekyll and Hyde performances - that have seen them flirt dangerously close with the relegation places.
The club says, "It was the right time to make a change in order to give the team the best possible opportunity for the remainder of the season."
It went on to thank Ian, and assistant manager Paul Bastock, for their efforts - wishing them both the very best for the future.

Ex-football professional, Caddis, who has played for the likes of Celtic, Birmingham City and Swindon Town, comes with management experience at this level, having dealt with similar circumstances at Hereford FC.
Chief Executive, Bal Srai, says, “Paul brings energy, character and experience of this division, and we believe he is the right person to guide the team through this period”.
Adam Rooney joins the Linnets as Assistant Coach with the ability to be selected as a player in the match squad.

The clubs adds, "We know this has been a frustrating season for our supporters and we fully understand the strength of feeling around recent results.
"Right now our focus is very simple: The remaining matches and securing the results we need."
Recent wins against Buxton, Southport and Radcliffe have given some hope, although losses to relegation threatened rivals Oxford City and Worksop Town, along with a humbling defeat at Macclesfield Town, have added trepidation - a lot still to play for in their remaining 12 games
