The East of England Flower Arranging Show will be coming to Hunstanton for its 70th anniversary event.

On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June, various flower arrangements, designed and made by top flower arrangers, will be displayed in Hunstanton in a free show.

Flower and garden lovers who want to see flowers at their best are invited to The Green in Hunstanton for the event, which has been organised by the East of England Area of the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS).

Roger Partridge, Hunstanton events organiser for the borough council, explains: “People who love flowers, good arrangements and just like a splash of colour will love this new event we’ve introduced to the town. We have top flower arrangers from all over the east coming to Sunny Hunny for the weekend.”

Sue Brinton, President of the East of England Area of NAFAS, said: “We are pleased to be bringing our 70th Anniversary Show to Hunstanton and thank the borough council for its help in staging the event. There are over 100 entries in our ten competitive floral design competitions, from clubs throughout the East of England. Many of the designs will have seaside themes. The displays, combined with our interactive learning area will make it a thoroughly entertaining event for all flower and garden lovers.”
