Mission accomplished by Hunstanton’s Inner Wheel

In her year as President of Hunstanton and District Inner Wheel Coral Campbell chose the East Anglian Air Ambulance as her designated charity, and on Friday 16th March she presented a cheque for £3000 to the organisation at a coffee morning with Inner Wheel members at her home.

“It’s all about friendship and helping others,” she said. “Most of the money was raised at the Norton Hill weekend and we should make special mention of Michael Schumann who opens his grounds at Norton Hill and operates his narrow gauge railway every year for Hunstanton Rotary and Inner Wheel; without his generosity raising this sort of money would be far more difficult.”

Accepting the donation, the Community Fundraiser for North Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk, Mary Dunn, said: “£3000 is the cost of one mission, so you have saved at least one life through your fundraising efforts and I thank you all; this is a tremendous amount for your group to have raised.”
