Professional and Businessmen’s Club of King’s Lynn (Probus) donates to Snettisham Beach Sailing Club
Adrian Tebbett, from the club, says the money will be used to make sailing even more accessible.
Last year, around 200 people of all ages were able to take to the water at Snettisham Beach Lake, thanks to small specially designed 2 seater Hansa 303 boats.
"The visitors are groups or individuals, either able-bodied or having varying degrees of disabilities," Adrian explains.
"Many of the visitors have never been on the water before but they really enjoy the experience, which can help with their wellbeing and mental health.
"On the floating pontoon, there is a hoist to assist people with disabilities to board the boats."

Adrain has been presented with a cheque for £150 from Probus.
The Club’s hope for this year is to extend the pontoon, install a second and larger hoist and to purchase another boat so that even more people can take to the water.
