I am so excited to report that our contractors have finished the remaining work to Knot’s Landing, our impressive new storm-resilient hide at RSPB Snettisham.
This week we have been working incredibly hard to build the level access boardwalk and, over the next few days, we’ll be constructing screening to prevent disturbance on the approach to the hide.
Obviously we are keen to mark the opening of this spectacular hide and the only way we feel we can do it safely, due to Covid-19, is virtually.
So, we will be holding a virtual ceremony and would love it if you could join us, virtually, as we unveil this much-anticipated new hide.
Jim Scott and I, plus a pre-recorded special guest, will be opening the hide; ably supported by Lucy Ferrer on camera and sound.
On Thursday, 17 September at 6pm we will broadcast live through Facebook, follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/682003005994636/ and select 'Going'. You will then receive a Facebook notification as we go live!
I hope you can join us and please do pass this invite on to friends, family or colleagues who may be interested in joining us too. The more the merrier (virtually, of course)!
