Buckets and spades at the ready at Hunstanton RNLI's annual sandcastle competition.
Around 100 children took part in the fun near the lifeboat station in Old Hunstanton.
As temperatures soared they got to work on their creations, assisted by mums and dads, grandparents and crew members too.

The charity's mascot, Stormy Stan, was on hand with some advice, "The trick is to add a bit of water to your sand, then squeeze it so you get a sturdy base to build on. Decorations are always a good way to make your castle stand out and catch the eye of the judges.'

Organiser Lois Carrick says, "I'm very pleased with the turn-out. It's a very popular event, it's something fun for the kids to do."

The much-loved event is organised by the Hunstanton and West Norfolk RNLI Guild, which raises funds for the charity's lifesaving work.
Winners got vouchers to spend at the lifeboat station's souvenir shop.
