Leanne Hepworth and her family who run Kemps Fruit and Veg at the Westgate end of Hunstanton’s High Street have launched a Christmas gift and toy appeal in aid of Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Leanne said: “We are asking for your help as a community to help us achieve this for an amazing local charity that is dedicated to supporting children and young people who have lost a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.
“We are asking for gifts suitable for newborns up to young people of 18; the smallest gift can make a big difference and put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas.”
Kemps are asking for gifts to be dropped off at the shop preferably before 10th December, but they are happy to accept items up to 15th December. They also have a cash donation box in store.
Recently recognised as a High Street Hero for the way they helped the community during lockdown, Leanne is pictured in the shop with James Wild MP.
