Chef de Partie
You will join a stable brigade in a busy kitchen, 90% of our menu is homemade and the remainder is made locally. We have a well-equipped, fully refurbished kitchen in a beautiful, well run property located in a village just 1 mile from town.
You must have a passion for food, be creative, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking and be able to manage quality and volume hand in hand.
You should have experience in a similar role and environment.
You should have a happy and positive outlook on life, be prepared to learn on the job.

Front of house staff
Hours of work can vary but will always include evenings and weekends, you will be fully trained whilst on the job. Main duties include serving customers, bar work, reception and cleaning.
You will join a stable and experienced team who manage quality and volume hand in hand on a daily basis. You should be a people person who is reliable, enthusiastic and hard working. Ideally you should have experience in a similar role, although full training will be provided.

Assistant Head Housekeeper
Experience and ability to help run the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, support the Head Housekeeper and Shift Managers in their roles.
Key Duties
Ensure all bedrooms are cleaned as per the daily housekeeping list
Ensure all public areas are clean and tidy each day
Ensure all arrivals are checked by 2pm, before releasing the rooms as ready to reception
Sit on the interview panel when recruiting new staff
Assisting with annual appraisals and staff reviews
Focus on training the housekeeping team to maintain and improve standards
Ensure housekeeping department is ready for the day ahead
Ensure store areas are secured, clean, tidy and re-stocked at the end of the shift and all equipment is switched off.
Ensure the building is well looked after, any maintenance jobs are reported to the Shift Manager in charge.
Undertake/supervise cleaning duties & follow cleaning schedule to maintain a tidy, clean and hygienic work environment
Liaising with customers, trade people, staff and managers in a polite and professional manner.
Communicate with staff in a polite and professional manner giving the required direction & training.
Ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained
Positive and flexible approach to the day to day running of the department
Ability to embrace the exciting challenges of a busy hotel environment.
Ensure linen deliveries are checked in and the correct stock levels are on site until the next delivery.
Enter dirty/reject linen count onto the online portal.
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is desired. Microsoft Office and general IT knowledge is also desired.
This is a permanent post, likely to be 25+ hours per week, usually 9am until 3pm, but hours can vary. Hours and days are 5 days over 7 according to the weekly rota.
