Families invited to celebrate Christmas at St George’s Guildhall
On Sunday 10 December 2023 a range of free festive family-friendly activities have been arranged at St George’s Guildhall form noon until 4pm.
The activities are Victorian themed and include a stage show featuring Father and Mother Christmas and Dickensian Christmas carols, Victorian games and a Christmas Trail. There are also opportunities to get creative and make Christmas cards, crackers and decorations to take home and mae a peppermint cream - a favourite Victorian sweet.

Jacket potatoes will be available to purchase from the Potato Pod and drinks will be available to purchase in the pop-up refreshment bar including mulled apple juice.
Tim FitzHigham, Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk Creative Director, said: “St George’s Guildhall is a magical place to celebrate Christmas. We have traditional Victorian games to play, and the chance to make some festive creations. Father and Mother Christmas will be on stage in the theatre, as part of a special Dickensian short show celebrating the spirit of Christmas. It’s all free and at the Guildhall for four festive hours only a couple of weeks before the big day!”
All taking place at St George’s Guildhall, 29 King St, King’s Lynn PE30 1HA. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
