Hunstanton Town Council implements additional measures during coronavirus pandemic

Currently there are no known or suspected cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Hunstanton, but in the light of the most recent advice from the Government, the town council is taking a proactive approach to mitigate the risk of the virus to help ensure all members of our community stay as safe and healthy as possible. These are some of the measures already implemented:

Hand sanitisers have been installed at the entrance to all our public buildings and visitors are urged to use them on entering and leaving.

The Annual Town meeting originally scheduled for Friday 17 April has been deferred to Friday 29 May 2020 and the Saturday Car Boot sales originally intended to begin on Saturday 11 April will be deferred to Saturday 6 June. All dates are subject to further advice from the Government.

Indoor events due to be held on VE Day (Saturday 9 May) will be deferred to VJ Day on Saturday August 15, again subject to further advice.
