A commemoration service will take place at 11am on Saturday January 31st

Hunstanton will honour the memory of thirty-one people who died when a wall of water surged from the North Sea, devastating the east coast of England in 1953.

Fifteen were local residents and sixteen members of the United States Air Force from the 67th Air Rescue Squadron, who were stationed at RAF Sculthorpe, just a few miles up the road.
