Hunstanton Snooker League hold end of season Presentation

The Hunstanton Snooker League reached a season conclusion this week as they held their Presentation and Awards evening at the United Services Club on Tuesday, 22nd April.

The season started in September and reached a pulsating conclusion when Conservative Club 'B' won the title with last year's runner’s up, US Old Town, agonisingly the bridesmaids again. Nearly 100 players are registered and participate in the league of ten teams throughout the season, with the league believed to have started as far back as 1968.

Over 50 players attended the evening, which also included a team doubles knock out tournament. Organiser, Geoff Hitchcock and Chairman, Steve Jackson, awarded all the cup and league trophies. Geoff said, "thank you to all the players and teams, it is they who keep the league going and as strong today as it was when it first started".
