Battle of the Bands and Sunday music on The Green.

Saturday saw the return of the popular 'Battle of the Bands' competition, now in its third year.  Bands from across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire took to the stage, each vying for a coveted spot at next year’s Festival Too in King’s Lynn.

Cllr Sue Lintern, Cabinet Member for Events and Culture, says, “This year’s competition was fiercely contested, and the energy on The Green was electric. We’re incredibly grateful to the Festival Too committee for their continued support, and to the musicians and audience who made the day so memorable.”

Families and visitors enjoyed the music in the sunshine.

Cllr Lintern adding, “It’s been a fantastic weekend of live music in Hunstanton. There’s still plenty for families to enjoy on The Green before the school term begins, and I’m especially looking forward to the thrills of next month’s Soap Box Derby.”
