Hi T&A readers from Glenn Perkins at Norfolk Decor

Us again from NDL Norfolk Decor Ltd in our third year of trading.. Just a quick update from 18 months ago when we last had a write up. Wanted let you all know that have we have all survived the pandemic safely and are still trading thanks to the government for the financial help that was given to us, and generally we seem as busy as before lockdown which is great news.

As you can see from the picture we have just completed decorating, two detached 4 bedroom houses inside and out on Kenwood Road, Heacham. Built by a local builder and recently just sold. Pictures to follow on our Facebook page soon.

We now looking at taking Sean on full time employment with the company, from being a sub-contractor with us for some time.

Were recently teamed up with Rapid Quote and using their great software to price jobs off of technical drawings/building plans and to keep our prices consistent and competitive with the big and also smaller jobs. So if we have a project coming up that needs pricing up off plans, feel free to contact us.

We also going to put a demo out online to show Builders, Architects and Quantity Surveyors as we’ve been taking on bigger domestic and commercial jobs in around North and West Norfolk which has been taking us to the next step.

We’ve also been hanging a fair bit of wallpaper lately on a number of jobs; Sean who works for us has a keen eye for it and makes a lovely job of it. Not all firms want to take it on but it is still very popular and can look great when done well.

We are also looking a taking on an apprentice at some point if the right candidate comes along through CITB, so if anyone has a youngster who is leaving school soon and wants the further education and a NVQ2-3 in Painting & Decorating, and who would like to complete an 2 or 3 year course at college, please get in touch. It would involve going to college 1 day a week plus 4 days a work on site with us.. We have plenty of experience going to college to help you through the course as I, (Glenn), Grant and Sean have all completed apprenticeship schemes in 2005 and 2010.

As some of you might have seen on our Facebook posts we have been spraying built in units and kitchens which can give a great finish and be cost effective.

We have years of decorating experience; Sean and I have 10 years each, and my two brothers 10-15 years working in the building trade. We can also help you with our knowledge of materials that you may want to use on your project.
