Spooky things are happening in Hunstanton this half term with a range of activities for children and adults in and around the town.
Throughout the week, children are invited to follow the clues, find the witches and work out the hidden message in the ‘Widdershins Witch Hunt’. Free witch hunt sheets can be picked up from Keelies’ Salon in Church Street, the Library, the Tourist Information Centre and the Salad Bowl Café. There will be a prize for the winning entry.
On Friday 25 October, children, aged five to eleven years old, are encouraged to dress up for ‘Halloween Kidz’ in the gardens. There are four free sessions of spooky fun and games for children who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Meet by the crazy golf at 11am, noon, 1:15pm or 2:15pm. Vince the Vampire, Zoe the Zombie and Boney the Dog will be meeting people. There will be songs, drawing, the Zombie Dog Challenge, and other fun games.
The Library in Hunstanton hosts a spooktacular fun afternoon on Saturday 26 October between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Children can take part in lantern making, Halloween photo booth, fun fancy dress and more.
On Thursday 31 October, adults are invited to ‘Frankenstanton’ at the Golden Lion in Hunstanton. Strange Fascination Theatre present a spoof murder mystery from 7:30pm. Including a buffet and refreshments, the performance is for people aged 16 and over.
