Gin lovers rejoice as plans for new distillery in King’s Lynn revealed

Gin drinkers in Norfolk may now have the chance to concoct their own beverage as plans for a new gin distillery have been put to the public.

The 15th century, Grade II* listed building located at 7A King Street is currently a professional services office but was previously a warehouse and in the 1980s served as a health centre.

The application, put forward by Strata Architecture Ltd, proposes the creation of a distillery, a practical workshop area for the public to make their own gin and a sales outlet selling the associated products and local produce.

Plans for the site can be viewed on the Council’s website or at the council’s offices.
