Driving rain and high winds did not deter the Hunstanton Friends from holding their coffee morning for Macmillan on Friday 25th September.

Home-made cakes and good company awaited members and visitors to the Hunstanton Friends coffee morning at the Community Centre in aid of Macmillan.

Secretary of the group Hilary Letch said: "Although the weather was appalling, with high winds and rain, we still managed to make £127, and I must say a special thank you to Steph from the Co op Funeral Office for the many cakes that she baked for us with her daughter the night before after a whole day’s work!

"The Hunstanton Friends is an extension of all of the groups that used to meet at the Hunstanton Library for colouring, knitting, crochet and ‘just a cuppa’; we are Covid regulations compliant, doing regular risk assessments and keeping to social distancing measures.

"We are a friendly bunch, so if you are lonely, isolated or just want some good company for an hour or so, come along and join us - all are welcome. For more information, call me, Hilary Letch on 01485 533631 or 07985217348."
