Hunstanton’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution held their annual flag day on Hunstanton’s high street on Saturday 24th August to raise funds for the charity.

Goods from the gift shop at Old Hunstanton were transported to the town centre for visitors and customers to purchase. There were also collection tins for people to donate and RNLI volunteers were on hand to talk all about what the RNLI do and to give out flags to children.

RNLI lifeboat crews protect hundreds of communities all over the UK and Ireland with their 24-hour search and rescue service.

The station at Old Hunstanton is open to visitors from Monday to Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday by appointment and Sunday 9am-12pm during the Easter to October months and Sunday 9am-12pm in winter. The gift shop is open Monday to Sunday 10am-4pm from Easter to October and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm in the winter months.
