Fishing vessel assisted by RNLI Lifeboat

Hunstanton Lifeboat helps shrimper with engine failure

At 4.30pm on Friday 10th January the UK Coastguard requested the launch of the Hunstanton RNLI Lifeboat to go to the aid of a fishing vessel with engine failure 3 miles off Hunstanton, with three people on board.

The Hunstanton volunteer lifeboat crew launched on service and proceeded to the area and located the casualty vessel. The lifeboat crew secured a tow and towed the vessel to Kings Lynn.

The Lifeboat left Kings Lynn at 7.50pm and arrived back at station at 8.30pm.
