The first tender at the scene

A house fire on Westgate in Hunstanton has led to road closures this afternoon and people are being advised to avoid the area.

The fire, which started around 3pm this afternoon has involved all three emergency services and as many as four fire engines were in attendance.

The fire is believed to have to have started on the top floor of the three storey terrace house, which is believed to date back to the 1800’s.

A man, understood to be the owner, entered the building to save his dog. Both were seen outside the property soon afterwards.
