Did you ever hear the Queen Sneeze is one of the lighthearted items contained in the Queen Elizabeth II Centenary Memorial Concert at the Town Hall on April 18th.

An afternoon of music, poetry and song celebrating what would have been the Queen’s 100th Birthday. It starts at 2.30, organised by local fundraiser Mr. John Harris.

The Platinum Players will again be entertaining with sketches, poetry and memories of the late queen and her favourite things. Such as Corgis, Sandringham, travel and of course little Paddington Bear. Their group this time is consists of Ann McKimm, John Marrow, Dawn Davies and Lorna Hutchinson.

Other performers will be The West Norfolk Singers, The Zimbabwe Fellowship, concert pianist Loc-Mai Yuen, Nikki and Dave Williams, David Young and Jef Manhattan .

John Harris will perform a singalong section of suitable songs for the audience to join in with.

Guests of Honour will be the Town Mayor, The Borough Mayor and the Reeve of Bungay’

Refreshments will be available and there are lots of prizes to be won. The Concert is in aid of The Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust and local charities.
