If you enjoy singing and getting to know new people it could be for you.
"You will receive a warm welcome," says Jan Wilson, chair of the choir committee, "The choir is primarily about people enjoying themselves. There is no requirement to read music as we ‘learn as we go’, and there are no auditions. You don’t need a perfect voice, you just need to enjoy singing with others."
The choir meets every Thursday, from 7 to 9 pm at St Cecilia's Church Hall, Mountbatten Road.

"Plus we have a great social life," Jan adds, "With choir members meeting for coffee and cake at different cafes in and around Dersingham and we often host events in the village such as coffee mornings and open gardens.'
One members says, “Singing is a feel good exercise and you always walk away from rehearsals with a smile on your face,” another says, "I find that when I'm immersed in singing something and giving it my all, I can't be thinking or worrying about anything else.”

Current choir members come from Dersingham, Ingoldisthorpe, Snettisham and Hunstanton. This season the choir is practising for its main Christmas concerts and ‘sing alongs’, on Saturday December 6th and Thursday December 11th.
After a summer break the singing begins on the 4th of September.
St Cecilia’s Church Hall, Mountbatten Road, Dersingham from 7pm to 9pm. Anyone's welcome to pop in.
