Classical Music Rocks in West Norfolk

This Friday, 1st July at 6pm there is an hour long concert by Rebecca Hepplewhite (solo cello) at Snettisham Church. It is free to under 21s.

The charity brings live classical music to children in school and the wider community at venues where concerts are free to youngsters.

Founded by volunteers in 2016, Classical Music Rocks (CMR) provides schools with professional musicians in either solo or duo combinations, who introduce their instruments and play short pieces in interactive performances for up to 200 children. For older children CMR offers a real short concert experience allowing children to fully immerse themselves in the music.

The concert at Snettisham Church is not to be missed; Rebecca Hepplewhite is an acclaimed musician who tours regularly in the USA, Asia and throughout Europe. She has performed all the major cello concertos and has several CDs to her credit. Friday's programme includes works by Bach, William Walton and Colin Riley and tickets for the over 21s are just £5 at the door.
