The Norfolk Hospice hosted its second Car Show & Family Fun Day on Sunday at The Royal Sandringham Estate near the Visitors Centre. It was a brilliant day and well attended with over 5000 attendees. Over £8700 was raised from the event for the Hospice.
There were lots of attractions including Grays funfair rides, donkeys, lots of different craft stalls selling everything from jewellery to Gin, food stalls, a bar and live entertainment.
Over 150 car enthusiasts arrived on the day to display a wide range of cars on display. Several Car Clubs also attended on the day and are grateful for their support.
Jessica Walker, Community Fundraiser at The Norfolk Hospice said, “The hospice would like to thank everyone who attended our car show and family fun day. We had a great day and are overwhelmed by the support of the local community. The money raised from this event will go towards helping us to continue to provide the care and support to people (and their families) in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses. I would like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors, KLFM, everyone who displayed their car, brought along their stall, volunteered and performed at the event. It was such a successful day and we couldn’t have done it without you! We look forward to seeing you all next year.”
The fundraising team at the Hospice are already busy planning next year’s event. If you would like more information about how to support the hospice, please visit www.norfolkhospice.org.uk.
